Jonathan Bash knew at the age of three, he wanted to become a fashion designer. He sketched designs in his children books, inspired by a video of his parents wedding –wanting each of his designs to make women look and feel as beautiful as his mother did on her wedding day.

Bash studied fashion design at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, California, where he developed his skill and knowledge of the marketplace. During his studies there, he began to create a line that would later become known as Jonathan Bash Designs, a couture line of dresses whose fan-base includes Paris Hilton, Ivanka Trump, Kyle Richards and many more.

“At 23 years old, he is already a force to be reckoned with,” says devotee, Ivanka Trump. “He is a tremendous talent. His collection is youthful, timeless and elegant. His bold designs are going to take him places.”

While couture remains his passion, Jonathan Bash realized that with a line of ready-to-wear cocktail dresses, he would be able to reach a much broader audience. His RTW collection is carried exclusively at luxury retailer Neiman Marcus since 2011. Jonathan Bash Designs uses ethereal fabrics such as silk charmeuse and chiffon, in bold solids with whimsical adornments and feminine details such as bows, sashes and trim.

“So many designers are trending very strong and masculine in their designs today,” says Bash. “I hope people view Jonathan Bash Designs as a collection that presents an exquisite alternative for the woman seeking a softer look.”

Bash’s mission is to positively impact women of all ages and lifestyles by making them feel beautiful both inside and out. Jonathan Bash Designs is dedicated both personally and professionally to the treatment and research for a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. He donates of a portion of the brand’s annual sales to Nancy Davis’ Race to Erase MS event.
